It’s Electrifying is an educational video created for Toyota that goes over the basics of how plug-in electric vehicles run. This easy-to-follow animation is especially helpful for prospective electric buyers who want to break down complex terms and learn about the types of energy.

Frames
While designing frames for It’s Electrifying, I chose to limit the color palette to mainly tones of blue to differentiate Toyota’s electric line of vehicles as from their gas-powered counterparts. I also played around with textures and noise filters to add some visual interest to the animation. The illustrative style that I chose makes it so that complex subjects are simplified and easier to grasp as a potential buyer.
